Lake & Oak Tea Co. creates plant-powered wellness through clean, functional, and delicious superfood tea and latte blends.
Think blends like the customer-fave Turmeric Ginger Tonic, sleep-supporting Lavender Dreams, and my personal favourite: Purely Matcha for a smooth boost of energy.
Tea recommendations aside, Lake & Oak stands out with quality ingredients, flavourful combinations, and multi-functional blends.
In February 2021, Lake & Oak founder Meredith Youngson came to me to outsource her social media management. The brand was quickly growing and her time to manage social was…not 😅
She wanted to improve her systems so she could better plan her seasonal and promotional content, increase engagement, improve customer retention, and maximize her opportunities for growth.
Based on her goals, I created a strategy that emphasized product education and building strong customer relationships.
After a few months, we added email marketing to further clear up Meredith’s plate while skyrocketing her sales.

STRATEGIC SOCIAL solutions
To accomplish her goals, I knew we'd need to post at least 5x per week. Lots of growth means lots of posting. I created a detailed content plan, with each post targeting a specific goal.
Meredith and I both come from a blogging background which helped me create posts with insane value for the customer. Trendy filler photos? Nowhere to be found.
Four years later, I still review performance on a weekly and monthly basis, relying on data to inform my decisions.
Meredith and I review this performance together and use our insights to plan content that keeps the Lake & Oak audience engaged with all things tea, superfoods, and self-care.
